Privacy Policy
Effective date: 27 October 2026
This policy explains how THE CODRA handles information you share through thecodra.com.
Who we are
THE CODRA is a freelance web and digital services brand offering web development, UI/UX design, branding, SEO and marketing. For privacy questions, email hello@thecodra.com.
Information you send us
Depending on the form, you may provide your name, email address, company or website, project needs, budget, timeline, preferred call time, or a request for blog updates. You may also choose to send us other information by email. Please avoid including sensitive personal information unless it is needed for your enquiry.
Form messages are sent to our team by Gmail. The site is hosted on Vercel, which may process technical information such as IP addresses and request details to operate and protect the site. Form submissions are not stored in a website database; copies may remain in email inboxes.
How we use information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, discuss and deliver projects, arrange requested calls, respond to blog update requests, protect the site from spam, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. A project enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell information submitted through the site.
The site also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the site. Analytics loads as soon as a page opens, without a consent prompt. Google may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device details, and interactions with the site. We do not currently use a separate advertising pixel or marketing tracker.
Retention
We keep enquiries that do not lead to a project for up to 12 months after the last correspondence. We keep project correspondence and records for up to 12 months after project completion, unless they are needed longer for an applicable legal or accounting requirement or an unresolved dispute. We keep blog update requests until you ask us to remove them.
Google Analytics is configured to retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, with the user data period resetting on new activity. Google may retain aggregated reporting data under its own settings. Vercel and email providers may retain technical records or messages under their service settings and policies.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you have shared, or ask us to remove a blog update request, by emailing hello@thecodra.com. We will handle requests in line with the laws that apply.
Security and third-party services
We take reasonable steps to protect information sent through the site and our inboxes. Vercel and Google may process information in the countries where they operate. Their services are also subject to their own privacy and security practices.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site or our information practices change. The effective date above shows when it was last updated.
